My life is guided by a complete trust in our Lord and belief that hard work, not words, make the difference. And, as your Mayor, it’s that trust in our Lord and dedication to our City that has guided every decision I have made over the last four years. Trusting in the Lord and hard work allows us all to make the most difficult decisions without fear and knowing the outcomes are part of his plan.

I can joyfully say that the lord has blessed our City over the past four years. Meridian has witnessed a decline in crime making our city safer, we have paved streets and repair bridges and city facilities bringing back our City’s pride, and we have been awarded more that $26 million from the Federal Government to improve infrastructure such as our water and wastewater system. These type of results are only possible through faith and hard work.

Everyone in your City government has worked hard for these achievements. From our brave men and woman at the fire and police stations to the entire administrative staff that are mostly unseen. This is not to say there were not struggles. There were many but as a team we overcame them. And the best is yet to come.

As a testament to all we have accomplished Meridian has been chosen by Compass Datacenters, a private company, as the location for a $10 Billion datacenter. This investment will create thousands jobs and generate new tax revenues that will make our City better for everyone. And more importantly, with continued faith and hard work, will create more investments in our Community making Meridian a place for our children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren to thrive for generations.

But none of this can be done without you. I’m asking you for your support, vote, and prayers. Together, with trust in our lord and hard work, we can keep Meridian MOVING!
