A RECORD OF SUCCESS
- Attracted $10 Billion in Private Investment that will bring jobs and tax dollars: Compass Datacenters is investing $10 billion to build 8 data centers in Meridian that will create thousands of jobs both at the data center and in our community. This investment opens the door for others to invest in small and mid sized businesses in Meridian.
- Improved Roads, Bridges and City Facilities: Over the last 3 years more than 50 miles of streets have been paved including: North Hills Street, Eight Street, 22nd Avenue, 45th Avenue. And we have constructed two bridges, completed repairs of City Hall (roof and exterior), refurbished all Parks and Recreation facilities (including lighting, remodeling, and additions), and reconstructed the Frank Cochran Center.
- Made Our City Safer: With the creation of the Real-Time Crime Center at the Meridian Police Department and the leadership of the City’s Police Chief the City has seen murder rates fall to the lowest level in more than 6 years and community involvement increase!
- Received More than $26 million in Federal infrastructure funds: Meridian competed with hundreds of Cities from around the country and won millions from the Federal Government that will be used to update and maintain infrastructure such as our water and wastewater systems.

My life is guided by a complete trust in our Lord and belief that hard work, not words, make the difference. And, as your Mayor, it’s that trust in our Lord and dedication to our City that has guided every decision I have made over the last four years. Trusting in the Lord and hard work allows us all to make the most difficult decisions without fear and knowing the outcomes are part of his plan.
